Access problems

VidsDesk accounts are issued directly by the operator. If you cannot sign in, or your two-factor device is unavailable, contact the operator by email and access will be restored manually after identity is confirmed.

Managing a connected TikTok account

How do I disconnect my TikTok account?
Sign in, open the Accounts page, and use Disconnect on the account card. This revokes the stored authorisation immediately and deletes the cached profile, avatar, video catalogue and statistics for that account from the server. You can also revoke access from inside TikTok under Security and login, in the apps and services section.
What data is held about my account?
While connected: an encrypted access token, your public profile details, and statistics for your published videos. All of it is deleted the moment the account is disconnected. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
Can I request deletion of everything?
Yes. Disconnecting removes account data automatically, but you can email the address above to request full deletion, including any operational logs. Requests are actioned within thirty days and confirmed in writing.
Will VidsDesk post without my approval?
Only if the account is set to direct post mode. In draft mode, every clip is delivered to your TikTok inbox and nothing publishes until you approve it there. The mode is visible on the account card at all times.
Troubleshooting

Common issues

An account shows as authorisation expired
TikTok access tokens expire periodically and are normally refreshed automatically. If a refresh fails, the account is marked and posting pauses rather than failing silently. Reconnect the account from the Accounts page to restore it.
A clip failed to post
Failed posts retry twice at hourly intervals before being marked failed. The Jobs page shows the exact stage and reason. The most common causes are an expired authorisation or a clip exceeding the account's maximum permitted duration.
Uploads are being refused
New jobs are refused when free disk space falls below the safe floor, to avoid a render failing halfway. The Storage page shows current usage and what can be cleared.
