VidsDesk Sign in

Long video in. Short-form out.

VidsDesk is a private publishing console. It cuts footage you own into vertical clips, writes captions, burns in subtitles, and posts them to your own TikTok accounts on a schedule — then reports what each clip actually did.

How it works

Four stages, start to finish

One upload moves through the whole pipeline without further input. Every stage runs on the operator's own server — nothing is sent to a third-party editing service.

01

Upload

Add a source video you own. Nothing is downloaded or scraped from anywhere else.

02

Transcribe

Speech is transcribed on the server, in any language, with word-level timings.

03

Cut and caption

Candidate moments are scored, the strongest are rendered vertical with subtitles burned in.

04

Schedule

Clips post to your connected accounts at the times you set, and results come back here.

Inside the console

What you actually work with

VidsDesk is a full operating dashboard, not a single upload form. Each area below is a working page in the signed-in application.

Jobs

Every upload becomes a job with a live progress trail — probe, transcribe, segment, score, render. Failures surface the exact stage and reason rather than a generic error.

Accounts

Connect TikTok accounts through official OAuth. Each shows its live profile, follower and like counts, posting cadence, time slots, and whether it publishes as draft or direct post.

Layout

Control how the vertical frame is composed — letterboxing, header and footer bands, subtitle placement and styling. Footage is never cropped to fill.

Schedule

Per-account posting slots in your local timezone. Renders begin two hours ahead of each slot so nothing is published half-finished.

Performance

Full account analytics: views, likes, comments and shares across the whole library, engagement split, top performers and latest uploads, per account or combined.

Traffic

Landing pages carry attribution, so you can see which page drove which channel joins, conversion rate per page, and live membership.

TikTok integration

How VidsDesk uses the TikTok API

VidsDesk publishes only to accounts whose owner has explicitly authorised it through TikTok's own consent screen. Access can be revoked at any time from this dashboard or from TikTok directly.

Login Kit
Account owners authorise VidsDesk through TikTok's official OAuth flow. VidsDesk never asks for, sees, or stores a TikTok password.
Profile scopes
Display name, avatar, follower, like and video counts are read so the dashboard can show which account is connected and how it is performing.
Video list
The account's own published videos are listed to build performance reporting. No other account's content is ever accessed.
Content posting
Clips are uploaded either as drafts for manual review inside TikTok, or published directly, chosen per account by the operator.
Privacy level
Every direct post reads the account's permitted privacy options from TikTok first and respects the creator's own comment, duet and stitch settings.
Data handling

What is stored, and for how long

Held while connected

Access tokens are encrypted at rest. Profile details and video statistics are cached so the dashboard can render without calling TikTok on every page load.

Deleted on disconnect

Disconnecting an account erases its tokens, cached profile, avatar, video catalogue and statistics history from the server immediately — not on a schedule.

Source footage

Uploaded source video is kept only until its clips have posted, then removed. Rendered clips are deleted as soon as they publish.

No third parties

Content is not sold, shared, or passed to advertising networks. There is no public sign-up, so there are no other users' data on the system.

Questions

Common questions

Can anyone sign up for VidsDesk?
No. VidsDesk is single-tenant software run by one operator for their own accounts. There is no registration, no billing, and no public tier. Accounts are created directly by the operator for their own team.
Where does the source footage come from?
Every source video is uploaded by the operator and is footage they own or are licensed to use. VidsDesk has no download, scrape, or import-from-URL capability of any kind.
Does VidsDesk post without the account owner knowing?
No. An account only becomes publishable after its owner completes TikTok's own authorisation screen. Accounts can be set to draft mode, where every clip lands in the TikTok inbox for manual review before anything goes live.
What happens to my data if I disconnect?
Tokens, cached profile information, avatars, the video catalogue and all collected statistics for that account are deleted from the server at the moment you disconnect. Reconnecting starts from scratch.
Are captions and hashtags generated automatically?
Captions are drafted from the clip's own transcript and can be edited before posting. Hashtags are restricted to tags the account has genuinely used before, so nothing invented or irrelevant is attached to a post.
How do I get in touch?
See the support page for contact details and expected response times.
